ABOUT ABOUT

"Tough as Nails; Funny as Hell!" This Sunday at 3 pm, you won't want to miss a Shelter "Special Event": a one-woman show available only on our big screen, direct from Broadway! "Ann" is a no-holds-barred portrait of Ann Richards, the legendary governor of Texas--and George Bush's worst political nightmare, the man Ann said famously was "born with a silver foot in his mouth."

This inspiring and hilarious solo play brings us face to face with a complex, colorful and captivating character bigger than the state from which she hailed. Written and performed by Emmy- Award winner Holland Taylor (“Two and a Half Men" and "The Practice"), "Ann" takes a revealing look at the impassioned woman who enriched the lives of her followers, friends and family and earned Taylor a 2013 Tony Award nomination for Best Actress.

Said rave reviews, "Ann" is so inspiring and uplifting, especially in today's world. Holland Taylor is a genius. She was magical as Ann Richards. I was spellbound...leaves you entirely mesmerized from start to finish."  Doors open at 2:30. Best seats available online at www.sheltervg4.com or at the door. 150 pesos
